The NFL recently released the dates and times for all 256 games in the upcoming football season. This schedule includes 17 games for the Washington Redskins, who will be defending their 2015 NFC East Division title. On September 12, the team will open with a prime-time game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who made it to the playoffs last season with a record of 10-6.

Throughout the rest of the season, the Redskins will play in two additional prime-time games at their home field. After hosting the Green Bay Packers for a Sunday Night Football match, the team will hold a Monday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers in the following month. The Redskins will also play longtime rivals the Dallas Cowboys twice, with the second game taking place on Thanksgiving Day.

This season will also mark an important first for the Redskins, as they will travel abroad to play their first game at Wembley Stadium in London. During this game, on October 30, the team will face the Cincinnati Bengals, who have made it to the playoffs the last five years in a row. Overall, the Redskins will face a challenging season with several games against experienced playoff teams and other division champions.
